Beaumont Estates is nestled in a valley surrounded by mountain ranges giving homeowners spectacular views. It is located only 3 miles from the beautiful town of Hendersonville where you can shop at quaint boutiques and eat at many unique restaurants and only 5 miles from the Village of Flat Rock and the Carl Sandburg National Park.

Flat Rock is the home of the Flat Rock Playhouse and the Carl Sandburg Home -- a National Historic Site. Flat Rock Playhouse is designated the state theater of North Carolina. Beaumont Estates is also convenient to Asheville and the Biltmore House; the largest private residence ever built in the United States with a large winery and now a major tourist destination. The Biltmore winery claims to have more visitors than any other winery in the United States -- including the Napa Valley wineries. It also produces some very good wines.

Thirty-five miles south of Flat Rock is Greenville, SC; providing shopping centers and many restaurants. Beaumont Estates is conveniently located to the Asheville regional airport -- and it is 55 miles, and 1 hour, to the Greenville, SC international airport. A terrific street fair can be found in Greenville, SC every fall and it is called Fall for Greenville. Lots of good food and entertainment awaits you.

Beaumont Estates is a relatively small subdivision with 67 homes. It is a country type environment removed from interstate highways, airports, and four lane roads; providing peace and quiet that is hard to find in modern society.

Beaumont Estates central location offers easy access to state and national forests, rivers and lakes that offer hiking, biking, fishing and more. Top flight entertainment can be found in Pigeon Forge and at Dollywood. Gatlinburg offers a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park -- the most visited park in the system. From Beaumont Estates it is 110 miles to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg. The Cherokee Indian Reservation in Cherokee, NC, is 78 miles from Hendersonville and is on the way to Pigeon Forge via one route. There are many attractions in Cherokee, including the outdoor play "Unto These Hills". Much closer to home is the Holmes Educational Forest which is 8 miles and the Dupont State Recreational Forest which is 12 miles. Carl Sanburg's Home and the Flatrock Playhouse state theater are both 5 miles. Pisgah Forest in Brevard is 19 miles and it is 23 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The beautiful Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are 21 miles and less than an hour away. Lake Jocassee, SC is 60 miles and about 70 minutes.

The local Western NC State Mountain Fair is one of the best fairs of its size in the country; perhaps the best! The Carolina Renaissance Festival in Huntersville, NC (near Charlotte) is 112 miles and about 2 hours. It is a large fair that covers 22 acres and has 11 stages for live entertainment.

The nearest ski resort is Wolf Ridge at about 45 miles. Both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain can be found in Banner Elk, NC at about 92 miles and 2 hours. For a summer trip to Banner Elk, stop and see Linville Falls on the way. And, a short side trip will carry you to the Mosses H Cone Memorial Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost 294.

Beaumont Estates and Hendersonville, NC is a near perfect place for adults and seniors to live and enjoy life; especially if you are the outdoors type. You are at the center of it all! There is an abundance of affordable recreation and entertainment along with a near perfect climate. The local Blue Ridge Community College offers both curriculum and Continuing Education classes that will appeal to many. The tuition is very modest.
